Bay Sine Recordings present System Music boss VIVEK with support from DMVU performing with Ill Chill on MC duties. Two rooms of sound!
- Line up -
Main Room:
Vivek (System Music, DEEP MEDi, TectonicRecordings)
There are few artists in the dubstep sound who can truly be credited with driving the genre forward - while paying homage to the rich heritage of music built on 140bpm. He comfortably stands within this small group of dubstep tastemakers and influencers.
Much like the sound he is known for, V.I.V.E.K has a rich and varied background - gained from combining his own Indian roots with early experience gained while producing both DnB and dub at the turn of the millennium.
Announcing his dubstep efforts with a 2007 debut via On The Edge; the producer has subsequently built and released anthem after anthem on some of the most respected imprints in the dubstep genre - DEEP MEDi, Tectonic and most recently via SYSTEM MUSIC, his own imprint.
Each release, whatever the label, catalogues V.I.V.E.K's ability to combine his musical influences to form sounds characterised by sharp midranges, light snares and heavy low-end rumbles. Not to mention some truly beautiful melodic presence.

DMVU & ILL CHILL (Circus Records, Deep, Dark, and Dangerous, Encrypted Audio, Green Life Worldwide Music)
Hailing from Denver, Colorado, DMVU is a producer of all trades. Dubstep, Hip/ Hop, you name it, DMVU can make a banger out of it. Having just signed a forthcoming EP to the legendary Circus Records DMVU is a serious talent to watch. His most recent release the "Bloccd EP" (out now on Truth's Deep, Dark, and Dangerous imprint) is smashing up dance floors all around the world and getting regular play from industry tastemakers like Bassnectar, Bleep Bloop, and many more. It's easy to see that 2017 is shaping up to be one hell of a year, so we took the opportunity to get him booked for his San Francisco debut.
Recently DMVU has collaborated with American Rapper/ MC Ill Chill on their Mixtape entitled "Green Tape". Effortlessly combining 90's Hip Hop vibes with elements of current Rap productions and Dubstep basslines, DMVU's productions underscore Ill Chill's rhythmic verses so perfectly, it creates a hypnotic, "dope" listening experience.

Saule (Gourmetbeats, Dubs Alive Records, Dub-Stuy Records, Surfase Records)
Learning music as a youth at his fathers recording studio in Oakland, California, Skyler Saulovich (aka Saule) is no stranger to bass heavy beats across several underground dance music genres. His earliest electronic dance music influence is 6Blocc, whose varied blends of drum and bass, jungle, and West Coast hip-hop sparked Saules entrance into djing and eventually, musical production. Since 2009, Saule has digital releases on several recording labels. His contribution to the GourmetBeats 005 - Bad Kids EP is his début vinyl release. Saule approaches musical production with creative sampling, dubwise basslines, and powerful percussion. Dubstep luminaries such as Joe Nice, Kursk, Mala, N-Type, and Beezy support Saules exclusive tunes on SubFM, RinseFM, and various live performances around the world. His recognition and support is well-deserved and Saule a name to watch in 2016 and beyond.

Room 2:
Johnny5 (Irie Cartel Recordings, SUB FM, Ritual Dubstep San Francisco)
If you reside in Northern California and frequent dubstep/bass music events, you almost certainly recognize the face behind the layers of wobbling bass, crunchy drums, and hypnotic melodies. An Oakland, CA resident, by way of Chicago, Johnny5 cut his teeth as an MC and hip-hop producer in both cities, sharing stages with the likes of independent legends Typical Cats as well as major acts including Raekwon and Devin the Dude.
Aside from performing, producing, and hosting events, Johnny5 founded the music label Irie Cartel Recordings in 2011. Thus far, the label has has a string of successful releases, including Ry Legit's "The Machine" and Trevor Kelly's "The O.G. Chronicles" which both charted in the top 5 on digital retailer Beatport.
In March 2013, Johnny5 put out his first official release as a producer, the "Thuggin" EP (Irie Cartel Recordings), which is a collaborative effort with LA/SF producer Trevor Kelly. The EP features a diverse array of bass-heavy sounds, including filth ("XJ-13"), 808/rap ("O'Gizza" feat. Ro Knew), and a room-shaking trap version of the aforementioned "O'Gizza," remixed by rising star Taso.
With an arsenal of original tunes, a vast collection of rare and exclusive tracks, and uncanny ability to read a crowd's mood, Johnny5 continues to spread his unique blend of styles to dance floors and festivals around the West Coast and worldwide!
